A BIRTHDAY WISH TO MY SIS

Hello people, how are you.  I have been a bit busy these past few weeks working on PL commitments and getting card orders done.  I had to take time out to make a special card for my sisters birthday today.  I could not get a good shot of it but it is a card in a box with me toasting her.  I really had fun creating it and hope she likes it just as well.  I also took a shot of what it looks like closed and ready to go in an envelope.  Well, thanks for letting me share and a BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO EUNICE MARTIN.

BAG IN A BOX

Hello and I guess it is good morning also since I am still up at 1:00 a.m..  A couple of weeks ago one of my SOC friends posted a bag in a box purse that she created and posted the tutorial as well.  It was such a hit that several people posted their versions.  All of them were darling and I knew I would have to try my hand at it too.  I normally do not like watching videos, but how else was I gonna learn to make this thing?  Too my surprise it was fairly easy and surely a lot of fun.  I thought I could use mine as a gift.  I made 6 matching cards to add inside.  I liked it so much I have started another one for a gift.  Nothing more special than something from the heart.  Hope you will be or get inspired to  try something new.  Till me meet again.

IT'S FATHER'S DAY

Hi, it's me again with another share.  Father's Day is Sunday, so I hope you all got those cards completed and ready to give.  I made two special cards for my brothers.   Yes, I have 4 brothers.  My sister made the other 2.  I also had an order of 5 cards this week.  I had a fisher, a golfer and 3 Empire fans.  Got lots of posting to do so let's get to it.  Thanks for blessing my blog.

POCKET LETTERS - If you can't beat them join them

Hello my friends.  I been out of commission for a bit.  Spent a couple of weeks in Chicago attending my nieces wedding.  It was just beautiful and so was she.  Ok, so everyone kept telling me I needed to get with the program and do Pocket Letters.  I was not that thrilled as I have plenty of ATC's that are stored the same way and I did love my little art as I call it.  I also did not like the commitment to keep swapping and the postage can broke the budget.  After all said and done, I decided to do a few anyway, even though I know it is just another fad.  We crafters can really get caught up in the moment.  So far I have made 7 total.  I enjoy using images so those will be the focus of most of mine.  Particularly I like using Robert Jackson images as it reminds me of making little cards.
The three I am showing today are Thank You letters for some awesome Scraps of Color ladies I met up with in Chicago.  It was fun making a memory for them.  I hope you enjoy and are inspired to try one or two yourself.  Thanks for stopping in.
