A BIRTHDAY AND 2 SYMPATHY CARDS

Hello fellow bloggers and friends.  I have been busy this week with making  Easter cards for the seniors at Quincie Douglas.  I am done with that and need to make a birthday card for a friend and I got a couple of orders for sympathy cards.  The birthday one was a piece of cake (no pun intended), however, I sometimes struggle with sympathy cards because of the nature of the occasion.  I want to be somewhat upbeat but also respectful.  I think I really like both of the cards a lot and hope the touch of bling is not too much.  What do you think?

Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

A COUPLE OF CARDS AND AN ALTERED PROJECT

Hello and Happy Tuesday evening.  Just wanted to share some cards I made for other folks at a giveaway on Facebook.  I promised I would give away 2 cards by random draw to anyone who left me a comment.  One lady requested an anniversary card putting a bug under her husband for a Hawaiian vacation.  The other one just wanted a birthday card.
The next project is an old step stool my mom kept when her brother passed.  She left it at my house stating she would come back and paint it blue.  I surprised her today when I Diva's it up and added a drawing I had made last year.  She loved it.  Thanks for stopping by.

EASTER CARDS FOR THE SENIORS

Well, it is almost time for another holiday.  Easter is just around the corner so I thought I would get a jump on making cards for the seniors at Quincie Douglas Center.  They really look forward to getting their card and egg for Easter.  We usually make about 45-50 cards to take and hand out. This is one of my favorite activities to do each month knowing that we will be putting a smile on some one's face.  Here are four that I made yesterday.

Thanks for stopping by and see you soon.

EASTER POCKET LETTER

Hi Peeps, get it?  Just a little Easter humor.  Anyway, here is my Wine and Dine Pocket Letter for March.  Of course, the theme is Easter.  I opted to use a Prima doll again since I love working with them.  I am also entering this in a challenge over at Scraps of Color.  Thanks for looking my friends.

SOME MORE FUN POCKET LETTERS

Good morning and happy Tuesday folks.  Just wanted to share a couple of Pocket letters with you that I recently swapped.  The first one is for a swap I did over at Scraps of Color.  I chose a birthday theme since my partners birthday was on Leap day the due date.  I also made her a card and gifted her the Prima doll stamp I used on the front.  The second one is one I did for a lady on FB Pocket Letters.   I just went with a playful/creative theme on hers using some Julie Nutting pieces and paper.  Thanks for stopping in.
