NATIONAL CARD MAKING DAY DIAMONDS AND DIVAS CROP

Hi folks, it has been almost 2 weeks since I posted so this might be kinda long.  Don't worry it will be mostly pictures.  My sister and I hosted a Diamonds and Diva Crop this past Saturday which was National Card Making Day.  It was kinda  of a thank you to our crafting friends of almost 15 yrs.  We made decorations, coasters, wine glasses and little totes for goodies. Everyone showed up with lots of bling and tiaras for the fun. We love theme parties. Appetizers of shrimp and sushi were served, followed by pull chicken sandwiches, potato salad and fruit for the main meal.  For dessert it was Vanilla Bean ice cream drizzled with chocolate and topped with a macadamia lace cookie.  We had a lot of fun.  Sharing some of the things we made for decorations and our guests.  I also created 3 make n takes cards for everyone to make and we had our monthly pocket letter swap.  Thanks for hanging in there with me, you are so appreciated.

A GOOD MAN POCKET LETTER

Hey folks, how are you.  Have you ever been challenged to do something that you just was not sure where to start? Well, over on FB in Pocket Letters Nashville, a young lady posted she wanted to do one last PL before going back to scrapbooking.  She  was very clear that it was for single ladies and it would be "A Good Man".  Huhhhh, I had not had one in a long time so I was hoping she would not ask me to swap.  Lo and behold, she called me right out to the challenge on the site.  I could not say no, cuz I am not scard of a challenge.  After a bit of thought, I decided to do mine around  an Alicia Keys song  "A Woman's Worth" with me as the good woman. :)  I used images by Robert Jackson for all the good men.  I hope you like it or at least find it humorous.  Till we meet again.

WINE AND DINE CRAFT DAY

I love when I get together with my Wine and Dine craft group once a month.  I have been crafting with most of these ladies for about 15 years.  We usually have a lot of laughs.  We had lunch first which was a super hot dog bar.  I grilled beef hot dogs and brats.  We had toppings of tomato, onion, cheese, olives, bacon bits, avocado, mayo, mustard and ketchup.  Potato salad and potato chips for a side and I baked some cookies for something sweet.  Oh I did not mention the big container of Jungle Juice Eegees.  Yummy.  Anyway, we have decided to swap pocket letters with each other every month.  This month's theme was "I Love Lucy".  I was told mine was very simple compared to what I usually do, but I like it and did not want to over power it with a lot of bling and stuff like I usually do.  Lucy looks extra pink here but she is not.  Gotta change it sometimes.  After that we just made cards and socialized.  I finished 3 cards.  The New York one is for someone who likes Frank Sinatra.  As always, I really appreciate you stopping by and comments are always welcome.

SMYPATHY, NEW BORN AND LITTLE GIRL BIRTHDAY

I am trying to get my mojo to flowing like it use to.  Glad I was forced to complete a few cards because my daughter's friend lost her grandmother this week and a friend of mine had her second grand child.  The images are all Robert Jackson.  I really enjoyed playing with all of them, but I like the sympathy one the best.  I used distressed inks and copics to complete it.  I like how it turned out.  Once again, thanks for blessing me with your presence and hope to see you soon.

KINDA LOST MY MOJO

Hello friends and fellow bloggers.  I know I have been slipping and not keeping on top of my game lately.  I am not sure if it is because I have not felt real well this past week or if I just lost my MOJO for a bit.  I started these cards about a week ago and did not get around to finish them til this morning.  It is a stamp my sister found at Tuesday Morning and thought is was kinda different and Unique.  I ask to  play with it  and here is my finished products.  One I added a feather that someone gave to me as a RAK and the other I added sequins to.  Both say "You're Unique".  The inside says "Just like everyone else".  Hope you get a bit inspired to try something fun and different .  Thanks for stopping in and Peace out.

CARDS USING BIG STAMPS

Hey folks, just me with a few cards using over sized stamps.  I have used two from Technique Junkies and one Prima doll collection.  These cards measure 6x6 and that is because I had to downsize the stamp to use.  The are very detailed and pretty, but big.  Gonna make my own envelopes too since I do not have any of this size.  Well, thanks for letting me share and hope you all have had a very Blessed Sunday.

SOME MORE POCKET LETTER SWAPS

Hi friends and fellow bloggers.  Hope you are all in good spirits and feeling well.  I got some more pocket letters to show you.  These things can be addicting, but I am making sure not to get overwhelmed with them by picking and choosing how many and what I want to swap.  I think my style is more of an ATC but that is ok because I like them like that.  I enjoy the art work more than all the little goodies.  It is also a good way to make some new friends along the way.  The first one I made as a surprise for someone who appears to love puppies and follows them on Pinterest.  I sure hope she gets that puppy one day.  The next is a swap from a FB group going to Nashville. It is all about Black Beauty.  The last one is a state swap going to Georgia.  Thanks for stopping by and please, please come again.
