OUTLAWZ CHALLENGES

Hi people. Just wanted to do a share of a couple of cards I created for the Outlawz  Sketch challenge and Twisted Thursday challenge.  The first image is a Rubbernecker image and the second one is by my favorite artist, Robert Jackson.  The twist for Thursday was to use a shaped card so I used a side step card.  Thank you for stopping by.

TWO POCKET LETTERS

Hello people, I know it has been a minute since I have showed this blog some love, but I have been busy.  Glad the holidays are over and ready for this new year.  I hope to learn to better use my expensive Silhouette this year along with trying to participate in more swaps and challenges.  Crafting is sure good therapy for my soul.
Just wanted to share a couple of Pocket Letters I created recently.  Although I am not hooked on them like some folks, I really enjoy creating and putting my art on them. Actually, I would rather have one with fun art on both sides.  The goodies are fun, but I have soooooo many that I have collected a box full.
The first one is one I made for the Wine and Dine monthly swap which was "Paris" and the second one is for a swap I am doing with a lady from Bronx, NY.  We just agreed to make something using a Prima doll.
Well, it was nice seeing you again and I wish you all the best in 2016.  Peace

WINE AND DINE HOLIDAY POCKET LETTER SWAP and CROP

Hi friends, back again with a share.  This past weekend the Wine and Dine Scrappers (Crafter's) had our annual Holiday crop.  What a fun time we had with old friends and new.  We did our usual card swap which is making a sample and enough kits for everyone to make the same card at the party.  I will be sharing the one I did for everyone to make.  We also are swapping themed Pocket letters each month with each other.  This month was anything Christmas of course.  I used a Sherri Baldy image to create my Night before Christmas letter.  If I say so myself, it is cute as a bug.  I try to take pride in whatever I am doing and hope the recipients will see the love I put into it.  I used gift tags from Hobby Lobby as my starting point and worked the colors around that.  Lucky for me I had a cute black polka dot envelope and found a matching set of mason drinking jars at Hobby Lobby to go with my swap.  Last but not least, Me and my sis made cute envelopes for the 5 of us Wine and Dine ladies with an appreciation gift of a Unity stamp and an embossing folder.  Everyone had their own face on the bill.  Thanks for letting me share and taking the time to check out my post.  Have a wonderful Holiday season and don't forget to spread some Love where ever you go.

HEY SISTAH HOLIDAY CARDS

Hello everybody and I hope you all had a good Thanksgiving week.  I pray everyone had a good day with family and friends and plenty to eat.  We all have so many things to be thankful for.  First and above all that God has been good and has granted us another day to rise.  Second, family that loves us unconditional.  Third, good friends that have your back and fourth is crafty friends from Scraps of Color.  I love all my friends, but the bonds I have made with some of the ladies at Scraps of Color is such a blessing to my heart.  I dedicate this blog to beautiful sistahs that share my love of crafting.  I have made several "Hey Sistah" holiday cards to send to some of the ones I have regular contact with.  I colored a Technique Junkies art stamp and used a santa hat gift tag I picked up at Hobby Lobby.  I hope they enjoy them as much as I did making them.  Thanks for stopping by and please come back again.

PINK AND BLACK POCKET LETTER

Hi folks, just wanted to do a quick post of my pocket letter for the Wine and Dine Scrappers monthly swap.  The theme this month was Pink and black.  I had no idea what to do so I went with Pink paper dolls and poodles.  The poodle was cut with the cricut and I used a prima doll as my focus.  Thanks for stopping by.

CRUISIN' ON A SUNDAY AFTERNOON

Hello everyone.  I know I have been slacking on the post, but that does not necessarily make be a slacker.  I have been busy getting ready for the Scraps of Color Cruise and taking it.  We left Sunday November 1 and returned Saturday November 7.  I had a great time even though I chose not to participate in the craft room.  There was plenty to do on and off the ship.  For those who did not know, we cruised to Labadee, Haiti which is an island  owned by Royal Caribbean.  Very fun beach, shopping and BBQ at this stop.  Next to Falmouth; Jamaica which is more of a historical island.  We did venture into the real island and took a great tour and had some Jerk Chicken. Last stop was the Grand Cayman.  It was a very wet day, but we made the best of it and took a city tour.

Several ladies agreed to exchange Cruise pocket letters when we got there.  I had so much fun working on mine.  I hope the recipient enjoyed it too.  I also made tags to give to the 6 others swapping.  I think they came out adorable also.  Anyway, thanks for letting me share.

BREAST CANCER MONTH

Hello people, back again with a post dedicated to Breast Cancer month.  This is a month I really enjoy.  I have no immediate family that has gone through this, but I had a good crafty friend pass away in 2012, and since then other friends that have been diagnosed and survived.  It is so important to get your breast examined on a regular basis.  If you have not done so this year, please go scheduled yours soon.  "Support the Fight, Admire the Survivors, Honor the taken, and Never Ever give up".
Here's the tags I made for the folks I know and I hope they make them smile.  See ya later.
