Today was my sisters birthday (29).  She wishes.  I made this card for her using personal images I purchased from Robert Jackson (www.fineartsbyrobertjackson.com).  He is truely a fine artist.  I had fun making this even though she does not think it looks like her.  It is a cartoon and I think it is just fine.  Took her to lunch then we went to see Tyler Perry's new movie "Witness Protection".  Hey if you like to laugh like I do, go see it.  His movies only seem to get better to me.  Peace.

Hi everybody.  Here is a card I created so I could play along over at Outlawz 2000 Member Party going on now.  I chose the Sketch Party Challenge which was to create a project that represents where you live now or where you are from.  I chose to use an image by a fellow Tucson man, Robert Jackson.  We live in the Wild West.  Yehawww

I really don't do many LO's since I discovered that I love to make cards,  Tiare over at Scraps of Color posted a challenge to post LO's so I thought I would go for it.  As most of you know, last nite was the premiere of Craft Wars, a show similar to cupcake Wars but with crafty stuff.  One of the judges on the show, Jo Pierson, came to Tucson to my Michaeal's a few months ago and I took a picture with her.  When I saw her on the show last nite, I knew it was time to scrap this picture.  Thanks for looking and have a blessed day.
I don't normally do 4th of July cards, but there is a Robert Jackson Digi challenge going on over at Scraps of Color.  I thought I would kill 2 birds with one stone.  My sisters birthday is on the 5th of July so she gets a patriotic Birthday card.

Hello, it's just me again.  I did not know having a blog could be so much fun.  You can actually talk all you want when no one is listening.  Not that I have that much to say, but it is kinda my personal space.  I swore I would never do this then someone twisted my arm.  So with that said, I am still a newbie and I am winging it.
I do not work so I have lots of time to create and share.  I am so happy that I have a few followers and have decided that when I get 50 followers I will do a grab bag of new and gently used items for blog candy to one random follower that leaves a comment.  Stay tuned for this.
Now, for my project for today---it is a card I made using the free image from Outlawz in the Creative Freebie Challenge.  Everybody is a winner there as all you have to do is post the free image and you will get another one for the next challenge.  Ok, I am more tired than I thought, so I should go to bed now.  See you all in the morning

I was inspired to do a card with my High School colors (Morenci High School) after seeing this sentimemt on one of  Alice Brown's cards.  I decided  " yes I can still fit my earrings so how you like me now?"  TFL

Here are a couple of cards I made just for the fun of it.  Now, I need to tell you that sometimes I am gonna post alot because I do not work and I get a bit obsessed with creating.  I guess that is what retirement is all about.  Doing whatever we want to do.

First of all I would like to say Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there.  To my father (RIP) I will always love and admire you.,

Today I am posting a couple of cards I made at a crop yesterday.  One is a silly birthday card for a long time friend who is celebrating her birthday next week.  She told me she has kept every card I made her.  Wow, that makes a girl feel good.  The other is an image I saw on my nieces FB page and I thought it sounded just about right.  Anyway I stole it and made her a card with it.  She just finished her first year of college and went home for the summer.  You all have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by

Hey, there is an Anything goes challenge going on over at Jackson's Digital Expressions.  You should go join in the fun and maybe win a prize also.  All you have to do is use some type of color medium on your image.  Here is what I submitted to the DT for this challenge.  You know I have to add some animal print in sometimes. :)  And if you don't already know, this is a Robert Jackson image.  Yep, my kinda lady taking care of business.  Thanks for looking

Looks like Father's day crept up so fast that I almost forgot.  I got a request to make a couple of cards from a lady for some friends of hers last  Friday, so that is what reminded me that although my dad is no longer with me, I have 4 wonderful brothers.  I chose to use this beautiful image of 4 men by Robert Jacson.  I also used it as my entry in the Robert Jackson Digi group challenge for this week over at Scraps of Color.  Thank you for looking.

Today was the birthday of one of my Scraps of color sisters (Tara).  I told her I was sorry I did not know it was her birthday or I would have sent a card.  Bless her heart she responded she wanted one anyway even if it were late.  How could I say NO?  Got her image that was drawn by Robert Jackson along with the one he did for me and Alice Brown and got busy this afternoon.  Happy Birthday Tara.

Last nite I hosted Friday nite chat over at Scraps of Color.  The theme was "Celebrating 100 members in the Robert Jackson Digi group". Here is my image challenge, Bring the Bling Challenge and " Make me Laugh" Challenge.  Thanks for taking time to look.  Hope you all have a great weekend planned.

Happy Friday everyone.  It has been a very fast week for me since Monday was a holiday and I have had my brother and sister in law in from Claremont, CA this week.  I am still recuperating from my B-day overniter crop also.  Here are a few cards I made at the crop.  Was gonna tell you who made the stamps but I can't find it right now.  Anyway while my friend Viv was visiting, we went to Blue Moon Scrapbooking and found these stamps there.  Thanks for looking and have a blessed weekend.
