Hello people, it has been awhile.  That does not mean I have not been creating, just forgetting to update sometimes.  Today I am sharing 2 cards I used with my second La la Land stamp I purchased at Bluemoon Scrapbooking this week.  I had been eyeballing it for a couple of weeks as it appeared to be something I wanted to create a card for one of my coloring class friends grand daughter who is terminal.  She has been released from the hospital but only given a few months to live.  Bless my Embrace Your Art ( Scraps of Color) friends , as many have sent cards as well just to brighten her day.  While I was at it, there is another lady who spends most of her time care giving her child.  She needs a smile also, so I made her an Easter card which I am entering into a challenge over at Embrace your Art.  I remember when I was in her position and feeling like you had the world on your shoulders.  You become Super Mom at these times.  Anyway, hope I have sparked some creativity in you or perhaps get you to thinking of someone who might need some cheering up.  Catch you later.

Hello bloggers and friends.  I was on Pinterest and came across this cute digi image that I had to purchase from ETSY.  It came with 4 images that were African inspired.  This one was my favorite so I did her three times.  Hope you like her as much as I did.  Thanks for stopping in.

Hello crafty people.  Hope you are taking time to get in some crafting since it is National Craft Month.  I myself try to get it in whenever I can as I am obsessed with creating. Last night I created a couple of Prima doll tags.  One is for a friend who shares his birthday with St. Patrick and the other I was just playing around with an Asian themed tag.  I used Adam and Marisol dolls.

Thanks for stopping in.

Sharing a few cards I made this past week for customers.  One is for a sister who likes purple and shopping, a father who loves old cars and a mother who is turning 90 years old and wears hats to church every Sunday. (she is also my cousin).  Thanks for looking and have a fabulous Thursday.

Hello ya'll.  You know I love me some cowboys and cowgirls.  As soon as Bluemoon got in the new Cassie and Ann dies and stamps I was there to get mine.  These girls are so much fun to play with just as all the other Prima Dolls.  I made Annie into a door hanger and Cassie is on a tag.  Sharing with you and hope you get inspired to create some happiness.  Thanks

Hello, thought I would do a little bit of playing with altered art this past weekend.  I bought an unfinished wood plaque from Aaron Brothers and painted it black.  Next I printed a Prima Princesses color book page to fit the open space.  I used copic markers to color her in some earth tones.  After fussing cutting her I mod podged her to the wood.  Added a wood "Sweet" and some flowers.  I liked this so much I think I will make another one soon.  Thanks for stopping by.

Hello people.  What a nice week we are having here in Tucson, AZ.  Gonna be in the 70's all week.  It is a struggle deciding to craft or go out in the sun.  Good thing I am balanced because I can do both and enjoy it.

Today I am sharing some giveaway cards that I completed.  I like to share my work with others so from time to time I post some kind of giveaway on Facebook.  Last week I gave away a tag, but felt generous and wanted to give some more so I had 3 alternate winners of whatever I wanted to make.  I used the same image that was on the tag and made them all the same with different base colors.  I also made a card for my February Facebook Friend. This was an app I did on FB that showed your 2017 calender of friends.   She loves her Basset Hound so I went with that.  Thanks for stopping in .

Did anyone fall in love with the images in the Prima Princesses books?  Well, I am still loving them and I was told that they are releasing some of them in stamp form soon.  Bluemoon Scrapbooking just ordered 9 of them.  Hope they get the ones I like.  I completed another African style one, an Asian persuasion and a book mark.  The book mark needs to be completed then I will give it away on FB.  Thanks for letting me share.

Hi Folks, anybody that knows me will tell you I am not into the adult coloring book thing because they are just to busy for me.  However, if you add something girly and pretty, I am all down for it.  If you have not seen the Prima coloring books, you should check them out.  Particularly the Prima Princesses one.  It has the most beautiful coloring images of all races.  Of course since I am primarily a card maker, I had to shrink them to fit my needs.  I got started coloring these and could not stop.  I think you will like this book.  Peace out.

Hi peeps, while at Micheal's last week I picked up a Jane Davenport face stamp.  I know it is a mixed media item, but I figured I could do something with it.  I am not really into mix media.  I will dabble with it just a little sometimes.  However, I love to be creative with things and found a fun use for my new face stamps.  I think I did pretty good making it mine.  Your opinions are welcome and appreciated.  Love,. peace and see you soon.

This is what I started with:
and got these as a result:

Hi peeps.  For the first time since I have been card making, which has been about 8 or nine years, I purchased a La-la Land Crafts stamp.  I have always thought they were kinda juvenile until I saw "Love you Molli."   I purchased her from Blue Moon Scrapbooking store and thought she would make some cute Valentine Day cards.  I was right, she did.  Check them out.  LOL, thanks for allowing me to be ME.

Hello friends and Happy New Year if I did not already tell you.  My, time seems to be just passing us by.  I tried not to make to many promises I could not keep this year.  I will just strive to do the best I can at whatever I do.
Thought I should start that off by updating this blog.  Hopefully I can learn some new crafts and techniques this year to enhance your browsing enjoyment.  I love my crafty peeps.  Yesterday I crafted all day with my Wine and Dine ladies.  We don't always get much done in 10 to 12 hrs we are here, but we have fun.  My friend Lupita provided us with a great meal of tostadas with the works.  We gotta eat and drink to fuel our creativity.  Anyway, I did complete 4 cards that I will share.  Thanks for stopping by.

This is the closed and open card.  I love this die, it is so versitile.
