HOLIDAY CROP

Hello and welcome back.  Just wanted to share a couple of things with you.  Today we had our annual Wine and Dine Holiday crop.  The theme was Old Hollywood.  Myself and my sister created all the decorations and goodie bags.  We also had to create a card to share and a gift exchange of an Old Hollywood door hanger..  We had so much fun doing this even though it was time consuming.  Hope you enjoy what we did and I hope it sparks some creativity to some.  Till next time ---Peace

BREAST CANCER MONTH

Hello people.  Back again with my Breast Cancer share.  Every year I try to complete projects, cards or tags for survivors or those going through it now.  This year I completed seven projects that should have arrived or be arriving this weekend.  Wish I could have done more, but my time is limited at the moment.  October is almost over, but it is not too late to lift someone up and also go get your girls checked if you have not already done so..  Peace

PRIMA DOLL TAG SWAP

Hello everybody, hope your October is going well.  Don't forget that it is Breast Cancer month.  Brighten someones day that is a survivor or going thru it now. Do yourself a favor and get checked if you have not already.  We have Halloween that I really enjoy this month also.  Need to send out a few cards.  Well, anyway, I came here to post the challenge we were having over at Scraps of Color.  It was a Prima Doll Tag swap that had to be of Sisterhood/Friendship.  I had a fun time making mine and actually wanted to keep it.  I chose to use 2 dolls to show friendship.  Hope my swap partner likes it as much as I did.  Have a blessed Sunday.

IT'S HUMP DAY

Hello and Happy Hump day.  Well, it is almost over, but I am still posting.  Been a long day for me.  Today was card making day with the Card Divas at Quincie Douglas Center.  I created a card for a male to share with everyone.  I also finished two others that I had started on Monday. One was an image I found on Pinterest and the other was a Julie Nutting doll tag.  I love playing with those dolls.
While I am here I am asking for prayers to all those folks that have been hit by disaster this week.  While we sit and create others are without food, homes, clothes, electricity, the things we take for granted.  Peace

TAGS, TAGS TAGS

Hello people,  hope you are enjoying your weekend.  Today I crafted all day with my Wine and Dine friends.  Tags were on the agenda as we all love Julie Nutting Prima dolls.  Our themes were Halloween, Steam punk and cooking.  I have never liked Steampunk, but thought I would try my hand at it.  I guess it was kinda fun.  Anyway, enjoy the rest of your long weekend and be safe.

IMAGES FROM ETSY

I came across some cute images on Etsy and could not wait to play with them.  They have several others I may go back and purchase also. These ladies reminded me of the hat ladies so I went more for spiritual/comfort on them.  I am entering the purple one in an Outlaw challenge which I have not done for a very long time.  Any way, I should get to bed as I have a busy schedule today.  Take care

COMPLETED ORDER

Hello friends.  I am still a slacker and don't post as much as I use to.  However, I have continued to create on a regular.  Having some withdrawals about Scraps of Color closing which is where all my 12 -13 years of work will be gone forever.  I loved that place and glad I got to make so many new friends and acquaintance's there.  I hope you will continue to follow me or friend me on FB also.

My projects today are for an order of an altered journal book and a birthday card for a 90 yo.  The image on the journal was found on Pinterest.  I like how it came out.  The card is more beautiful than the picture.  The party colors are gonna be purple and metallic gold.  The gold does not show up will when scanned, but it is really pretty.  That is all for me tonight so please be inspired to create something beautiful yourself. Peace

Do Your Thing

Hello my blogger friends.  Bet you was wondering where I have been.  Well, I have been right here but very busy care giving my daughter.  That still does not stop me from doing what I love.  Right now, I am loving my Julie Nutting Prima dolls and take every opportunity to play paper dolls.  What I have created today is Marisol wearing a dress altered from a Micheal's note card.  She is ready to step out on the town all blinged up for her birthday.  I love her in her orange outfit.  Thanks for looking and see you soon.

THIS AND THAT

Hello friends.  I really have been very busy, but I have to make time for me.  Crafting is my outlet, my peace of mind and my joy.  Over the last few days I did get a chance to play with a new stamp I got from Bluemoon Scrapbooking, used some of my unbranded dies and the most fun was creating a "Crazy Cat Lady" Prima doll.  Does anyone else still get pleasure out of playing with paper dolls?  Anyway, here is what I have done and I hope you get inspired in some way to do what makes you HAPPY too.  Peace

FOURTH OF JULY

Hello Friends.  Been away to Punta Cana DR.  It was fun and nice to get away, but there is no place like home especially if that is where your craft stash is.  I really needed a fix after 7 days.  I broke out some of my prima dolls and got busy creating a couple of tags for a couple of my FB friends just because.  I chose the 4th of July theme since it is upon us.  I love these dolls and have so much fun playing with them.  It brings out the kid in me.  Oh well, you are never to old to have fun.  Thanks for stopping by.

MALE BIRTHDAYS

I'm back.  Did anyone miss me?  LOL oh well, I will pretend you did anyway.  Just to catch you up, I had a birthday on May 23 and turned 40+.  My bff's husband sent me a flight to come visit her in Dallas on the 24th which is her birthday.  On Friday we hooked up with Roz Davis, who is another online crafty friend, and drove to Oklahoma for a weekend of crafting.  It was a wonderful retreat house and the 5 of us had a great time bonding and crafting until Monday evening.  I will definitely do this again.  After returning home on a Wednesday, I had a few days before heading to the White Mountains in Pinetop, AZ.  I had never been but lived in AZ all my life.  Me and my friend Bernie hit every casino on the way up.  Unfortunately, we left our donations there.  Next up and last trip for this summer is next Wednesday.  Me and my sis are headed to Punta Cana, DR for 5 days.  I look forward to this get away.  Well, enough about my adventures, I did come to post a couple of cards.  I rarely make male cards as it does not come easy for me.  I got a request for one so I just made two.  I like how they came out.

MOTHER'S DAY 2017

Hello, it's me.  Yep, I have been a slacker when it comes to this blog.  However, I have been creating on a regular. Got orders for about 15 cards.  Mostly Mother's Day, but 3 birthdays and one graduation.  I love to create unique cards but sometimes it is a challenge to stay focused and get things done.  I have three more to complete then I am done for now.  Here are 5 of the Mother's Day cards.  Peace out

LA LA LAND #2

Hello people, it has been awhile.  That does not mean I have not been creating, just forgetting to update sometimes.  Today I am sharing 2 cards I used with my second La la Land stamp I purchased at Bluemoon Scrapbooking this week.  I had been eyeballing it for a couple of weeks as it appeared to be something I wanted to create a card for one of my coloring class friends grand daughter who is terminal.  She has been released from the hospital but only given a few months to live.  Bless my Embrace Your Art ( Scraps of Color) friends , as many have sent cards as well just to brighten her day.  While I was at it, there is another lady who spends most of her time care giving her child.  She needs a smile also, so I made her an Easter card which I am entering into a challenge over at Embrace your Art.  I remember when I was in her position and feeling like you had the world on your shoulders.  You become Super Mom at these times.  Anyway, hope I have sparked some creativity in you or perhaps get you to thinking of someone who might need some cheering up.  Catch you later.

NEW IMAGE I FOUND AND LOVED.

Hello bloggers and friends.  I was on Pinterest and came across this cute digi image that I had to purchase from ETSY.  It came with 4 images that were African inspired.  This one was my favorite so I did her three times.  Hope you like her as much as I did.  Thanks for stopping in.

TAG YOUR IT

Hello crafty people.  Hope you are taking time to get in some crafting since it is National Craft Month.  I myself try to get it in whenever I can as I am obsessed with creating. Last night I created a couple of Prima doll tags.  One is for a friend who shares his birthday with St. Patrick and the other I was just playing around with an Asian themed tag.  I used Adam and Marisol dolls.

Thanks for stopping in.

NEW PRIMA COWGIRLS ANNIE AND CASSIE

Hello ya'll.  You know I love me some cowboys and cowgirls.  As soon as Bluemoon got in the new Cassie and Ann dies and stamps I was there to get mine.  These girls are so much fun to play with just as all the other Prima Dolls.  I made Annie into a door hanger and Cassie is on a tag.  Sharing with you and hope you get inspired to create some happiness.  Thanks

ALTERED FRAME

Hello, thought I would do a little bit of playing with altered art this past weekend.  I bought an unfinished wood plaque from Aaron Brothers and painted it black.  Next I printed a Prima Princesses color book page to fit the open space.  I used copic markers to color her in some earth tones.  After fussing cutting her I mod podged her to the wood.  Added a wood "Sweet" and some flowers.  I liked this so much I think I will make another one soon.  Thanks for stopping by.

GIVEAWAYS

Hello people.  What a nice week we are having here in Tucson, AZ.  Gonna be in the 70's all week.  It is a struggle deciding to craft or go out in the sun.  Good thing I am balanced because I can do both and enjoy it.

Today I am sharing some giveaway cards that I completed.  I like to share my work with others so from time to time I post some kind of giveaway on Facebook.  Last week I gave away a tag, but felt generous and wanted to give some more so I had 3 alternate winners of whatever I wanted to make.  I used the same image that was on the tag and made them all the same with different base colors.  I also made a card for my February Facebook Friend. This was an app I did on FB that showed your 2017 calender of friends.   She loves her Basset Hound so I went with that.  Thanks for stopping in .
