MOPING ALONG

Well, somebody over at Scraps of Color is having a birthday.  Could not let the day go by without wishing Neomia Rhondes a very Happy Birthday.  Those of you that know her, know that she is a motorcycle babe.  Everyone knows that a moped is much slower than a motorcycle so if this does not get there on time, my intentions were good.

The cat card is for my friend Tonya's (May she rest in peace) mother.  Tonya's beloved cat Charlie became ill and was put to sleep last week.  I am not a cat person, but Charlie was almost like a dog and she was very very loyal to Tonya. I was told that our fur babies went to the Rainbow bridge to one day be reunited.  The inside has a verse about the Rainbow Bridge.  Thanks for looking and Peace out.

TIME FOR SOME HUMOR

Hello, I pray everyone had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends.  I had a lovely day with my family.  Wanna see the family pic my friend Kharmyn took?  Gonna post anyway. :)

So glad it is over and I can move on to other things.  I spent the day making 3 cards.  Gonna post the 2 "Not Hallmark" cards today.  I love to laugh and have a weird sense of humor when it comes to cards.  Sometimes I have to ask myself "who would you give that to?"  LOL I don't know, but it is always funny at the time.   Gonna enter  the lady with the dog  at http://littlemissmuffetchallenges.blogspot.com/2012/12/challenge-51-anything-goes.html Hope I made you smile at least a bit.  Peace

SHOUT OUT TO MY WINDY CITY FRIENDS

I am not gonna talk much because this is a long post.  Just wanted to share some love with some of the wonderful ladies I met in Chicago last Christmas.  I made each of them a cute little accordion card which included pictures of all the ladies that met up with us.  Sorry Sandra yours will be late as I ran out of time.  All the images used are by Robert Jackson http://www.fineartsbyrobertjackson.com/new-digital-arrivals.html except the Breast Cancer one.   Thanks for looking.  Peace out.

JUST 4 DAYS LEFT

Can you believe Christmas is just 4 days away.  I feel like all I have done up to this point is make cards.  I can't bring myself to send any of my personal friends or family a store bought card anymore.  Boy that is alot of pressure on a girl.  If you did not get a card from me, just know that I have you in my thoughts and in my heart because my hands could not make anymore cards.   LOL.

Here are 3 more cards I completed.  The first 2 are images by Robert Jackson http://www.fineartsbyrobertjackson.com/new-digital-arrivals.html.  Thank you and I appreciate you.

INSPIRED BY TIFFANY

As I was browsing over at Scraps of Color http://scrapsofcolor.ning.com/photo/peace-on-earth-4?context=latest, I saw this card and knew I had to scraplift it.  I love to color but time is short and I have not completed all my Christmas cards.  Thank you Tiffany for inspiring me to complete these 2 cards in little or no time.  Peace out and come again.

A TREAT FROM MALIK'S MOM

Today I got up early so that I could make a Sour Cream Pound Cake and a Christmas card for the Broadway Animal Hospital.  This is were I took my dog for care when he got diabetes three and a half years ago.  Sometimes I thought the ladies there loved him as much as I did.  Dr. Mueller made a donation in his name to a Vet School at the University of Missouri.  I was so touched by this gesture and felt I had to make one last trip to wish them a Merry Christmas.  Here is the card I made for them.  I felt the black dog was appropriate since Malik was black and of course they are partial to animals anyway.  Thanks for stopping by.  Peace Out

Outlawz Challenges

I created two cards last night for two different challenges over at http://outlawzchallenges.ning.com/groups.  The first one was called "It's a Jungle out there,"  http://outlawzchallenges.ning.com/group/birthdaycard/forum/topics/greetings-card-challenge-december-10th You must use an animal or animal print.  I used both.

The second one is for the Creative Freebie challenge.  http://outlawzchallenges.ning.com/group/cfc/forum/topics/cfc-december-2-16

As always, thanks for stopping by.

Altered Christmas Ornament

I got a call from an old friend who stated that he needed an ornament this Saturday.  I was flattered because he said "Before I run to Dillards, I thought you could hook me up."  Anyway, the host which he calls his brother ask that he just bring an ornament to hang on the tree.  Since it was about being brothers I thought I would use one of Robert Jackson's images. http://www.fineartsbyrobertjackson.com/new-digital-arrivals.html I started with a chip board coaster, holiday paper, cling and 3d embellishments.  I used copics to colore thei images.  It looks nicer in person and I really like how it came out.  On the back is gold glitter paper and 2013.  Thanks and Peace Out

MORE HOLIDAY CARDS

Yippeeeeee.  I am finally done with making cards for other folks and can concentrate on getting my own out before Christmas.  Here are the last three I made for a neighbor.  The boy angel card has a pocket inside to hold a gift card.  As always, I appreciate you stopping by.

ARIZONA SANTA'S

You know, the day I decide to post my Arizona Santa's, it is getting down to 31 degrees.  I thought we were not gonna get any winter this year.  I stepped outside and it is really really cold for us Arizona folks.  So much for the sunshine, shorts and thongs.
I created both of these cards for my neighbors friend who enjoys my cards and has bought from me before.  He is a cowboy and anything western or outdoorsy makes him happy.

The stranded Santa is from Viva Las Vegas Stamps and the shirtless Santa is from The Stamp Mill.  Thanks for coming by.  Peace out

Merry ChristMoose and more

Blessed Sunday everyone.  Hope your day is going well.  I attended an all day crop with the Scrappack Gals yesterday and did not get as much done as I thought since we drink a little wine, played a gift exchange game and made a cute Christmas tree project.  I don't know, maybe it was the drink a little wine that kept me from doing as much as I had wanted.  Anyway, I had a fun time socializing with other crafty ladies.  I am entering this Snowman card here http://redcarpetstudiochallenge.blogspot.com/.

The other cute Reindeer image is from Rubbernecker.  Isn't he cute?  My last project is one we learned at the crop.  A cute little tree with hersheys candies.  This is a really fun project to give.  Hope you have been inspired today.

This is a card made for http://mojomonday.blogspot.com/ .  I love doing their sketches.  The image is from Rubbernecker.  I made this for my friend Tonya's mom.  Tonya lost her battle to cancer in April of this year.  May she rest in peace.  Gonna make her a Holiday wall hanger to match also.  Thanks for looking.

Challenge Cards

Hi everybody.  I am back today with two cards I created for challenges.  The first one is for http://jacksonsdigitalexpressions.blogspot.com/ Inks and such challenge.  The image is from Robert Jackson "Women gone wild".

The next card is for the Outlawz greeting card challenge.  The focus is on eyes.  Either eyelets or eyes.  http://outlawzchallenges.ning.com/group/birthdaycard.  I chose to do a tri shutter card for this one.  Thanks for stopping by.  Peace out.

Altered Holiday wall hangers

So yesterday morning a friend called and wanted to do breakfast at our favorite cheap breakfast joint.  I was not feeling it at first because I knew I had to complete some ordered Christmas cards.  While eating she asked "what project are we gonna do today?"  At first I laughed and said "I will be working on my cards as I have to get them done." It did not take long for me to be side tracked into doing something else.  Our something else was to alter some chipboard coasters ($1 from Michaels) into Holiday wall hangers.  These are the two I made.  I do not remember who makes the angel as it was a freebie.  The rest was made from scraps and embellishments.  This is a fun project, I would like to see what you do with it.  Thanks for stopping by.

Sassy Seniors

I am really liking these Sassy Senior images.  I made 4 for my mom to give to her fast little senior friends.  They are so cute when they remind you  "I was young once, so I know a thing or two."  Yes,  they do have some wisdom.  Both images are from I brake for stamps.  The inside of the lady says "At our age, a Merry anything is a good thing.

I am entering the Senior Santa here http://craftysue52.blogspot.com/2012/12/im-dreaming-of-white-christmas.html. It is a anything goes holiday theme.  Thanks for stopping by and come back again.

HAPPY 84TH BIRTHDAY MOM

I'm back.  Sure missed you all.  I have been very busy.  Had the Holiday crop Saturday before last, then a Holiday get together this past Saturday and then another Holiday all day crop this Saturday.  Hope I can get all my cards made so they can go out on time.  I am still making cards for others too.  Enough about that.  I am here to give tribute to my mom for her 84th birthday which will be on December 8.  For those who know Classygirl, hers is the same day, so shout out birthday wishes to you Tiare.  The card I made for my mom is kinda Senior Sassy Cute. She is so cute when she tries to be hip and walks with some pep in her step.  She likes to think she still has a fun sense of humor so that is what she gets.  I just love doing center step cards.  They are so fun to decorate.  I used cardstock from my stash, Bo Bunny print paper and Recollections Holiday glitzy glitters paper. The green pearls are from Queen and Co and the bling from Recollections. The image is from I brake for stamps.  I am sure she will get at kick out of it and I hope you do to.  Thanks and Peace out.

I also wanted to share some wine glasses me and a couple of my scrappy friends made today.  (Kharmyn and Jericia).  We are not artist so don't judge too hard.  At any rate we had fun making them.  Thanks for stopping by and Peace out.

HOLIDAY CROP

Greetings.  Every year a group of my scrappy friends get together for a Holiday Crop.  This year we held it at the Hotel Tucson City Center.  It was a good sized Hospitality room with two ajoining bedrooms.  Myself and my friend Kharmyn always prepare a holiday ham dinner with all the trimmings.  Everyone is to design a card and bring enough stuff for everyone else to make the same card.  We also have to make a handmade gift to exchange.  We started at 1 p.m. on Saturday and ended at noon on Sunday.  I had a great time and got a jump on my Christmas cards.  So here are the cards that I made from the samples and my hand made gift.  I painted some wood ornaments from Michaels and then used one of the $1.50 recipe boxes to act as a storage for them.  Can you guess which card I designed?  I will post it by itself next posting.   Peace out.

Happy Black Friday

Happy Black Friday.  Hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving with family and friends.  Boy, it seems that Black Friday was more important than the holiday this year.  All of the stores trying to open before others which cut Thanksgiving short for those who had to go into work.  My sister had to leave early from my moms and she was not happy.

Ok on to my post for today.  I created two Christmas cards using images by Robert Jackson http://www.fineartsbyrobertjackson.com/. These are cards someone ordered.  The one with the snowman has a little wobble snowman on it that I diecut and colored.  Thanks for coming by and have a blessed day. Peace out

Happy Birthday Cynthia

Well, November 21st is a very sweet lady's birthday that I know over at Scraps of Color.  I had the pleasure of meeting her recently in Las Vegas at the Stamp and Scrapbook Expo.  We spent a couple of days hanging out  together and had a wonderful time. After the Expo we went to Viva Las Vegas Stamps and bought some not so usual stamps.   I used one of the stamps that she bought to make this card for her.  I really liked it and hope she will too.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY CYNTHIA.  Thanks for stopping in and please come again.

HOLIDAY GIRLS GONE WILD

These aren't for everybody, but surely we all have a crazy friend that would find these amusing.  I like to send them to my open minded friends and my nieces get a kick out of them.

The inside of the first one says "So what's it been this year, Naughty or Nice?"  The other one says " Meet me under the misletoe"  Thanks.
