THE LAST CHRISTMAS CARDS

Hi folks, I don't know about you, but I am glad Christmas is over.  Very low key this year and a lot to do for a few quick hours.  I am ready to move on to the New Year.  Before I do, I want to share the last few cards I made for my Mom, my nail tech, a long time friend and a New Year card give away I posted on FB during the last episode of Empire.  Thanks for looking.

IT'S ALMOST CHRISTMAS

Welcome back.  Can you believe it is almost Christmas.  I am really running late on getting my cards out this year so I will definitely start in July next year.  I wanted to send more, but I have been way too busy this year.  I put up a little tree just to feel in the spirit a couple of days ago.  Anyway, here are a few more cards I made.  See ya soon.

A SOUTHWEST CHRISTMAS

Hello friends, I am back to start sharing some of the cards I have been working on.  Robert Jackson created a really cute Cowboy Santa which was right up my alley.  I love cowboys and cowgirls so why not cowboy Santa.  The first card is one I made with a template die and opens up to reveal Santa.  Hope you think they are as cute as I do.  Thanks for stopping by and feel free to leave a little love.

FAMILY BIRTHDAYS

Happy Hump Day friends.  Would like to share some birthday cards I made for some of my family members.  There are more December birthdays, but I am kinda busy and trying to get Christmas cards done before I leave for LA in a couple of days.  The first is one for my Aunt who is turning 80, then for my mom who is turning 88 (She is Blessed) and then for my nephew.  I so enjoy creating smiles for folks and hope you do too.  Peace.

CHRISTMAS CARDS FOR A COUPLE OF FRIENDS

Welcome back to my blog.  I been busy, but never to busy to craft for my friends.  I did a couple of card swaps with a couple of my online friends.  One was a gift/card swap over at Embrace your Art.  My partner was Princess http://papercraftingparadise.blogspot.com/.  She is a Delta so I chose to make hers in that theme with a Robert Jackson image.  The other was a friend from a card making group on FB.  I used another Robert Jackson image for hers also.  Guess I better get to bed now so I bid you a goodnight.

JUST A SHARE

Hello, just stopping in to share a fun Holiday card swap. I ran across a lady in one of the card making groups on FB from Puerto Rico and we decided to exchange Christmas cards and a tag.  I wanted to make sure I made the deadline of 11/23 so I got right to work.  I chose to use prima dolls since they are so much fun to play with.  Thanks for taking time to check me out.

PINK LEOPARD

Welcome back to my blog friends.  Today I want to share some items I created for my daughters 40th birthday which was on November 8.  Her best friend since high school gave her a very cozy family and friends party that she ask if I could provide some pictures.  Busy as I was preparing for a craft show, I found time to come up with some cute stuff for my only child (if I must say so myself).  Any way, I found some pic starting at 3 mos old til now to create a picture board, I used and old envelope box to make a center piece filled with lip gloss, lipstick and candy.  She is not a keeper of cards, but I made one anyway to go along with the rest of the decor.  I really had fun creating with the Prima doll as my main focus.  Thanks for stopping by and see you soon.

PRIMA PRINCESSES

Hi ya'll, did you know Prima just released a new line of stamps called Prima Princesses?  I could hardly wait for them to come out and when they got to my local craft store, I was a bit disappointed.  Yes, because they all had a bunch of flowers for coloring all over them.  I loved the face on Madeline but just could not get into all those roses on her head.  Needless to say I purchased a couple anyway with the idea I could work with them.  I love my afrocentric creations which inspired me to ditch the flowers on two of the stamps.  I love the out come and hope you do too.  Tell me what you think of my new Big Afro girls.  As always thanks for stopping by and leaving some love.

RANDOM STUFF

Hi Friends. Happy Sunday and I hope you are having a Blessed Day.  I thought I would post a few random cards I made this past week for various reasons.  (Most of the time I don't need a reason to make a card).  The first one was for a FB friend who requested a card even though her birthday had passed.  LOL, I am easy so I made her a sassy one.  Then I decided to make my young neighbors a wedding card since they are gone to Italy to get married and should be back in a day or so.  The last was a fast Hello card to give to another FB friend who was in Tucson over the weekend from Oklahoma.  I love meeting up with these total strangers that  I call friend.  Well, that is it for today.  Feel free to say hello or leave a comment.  Peace out.

BREAST CANCER MONTH

Hello folks.  As you all know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  I really enjoy honoring those who have had to fight like a Girl.  The journey is real and they survived.  I send out about 6 to 10 cards to people I know that are survivors every year.   For some I make special projects if I have the time.  At any rate, if you know someone that might be lifted, send them a card or something this month and go get yours checked too if you have not already.  Here is what I have done so far.  Hope it inspires you to do some yourself.  Thanks for stopping by.

BIG PRIMA DOLL CARDS

Hi folks, I am still busy, but creating when I can.  I have decided to participate in a vendor fare in November, so that means I need to get busy creating .  I have made several half sheet cards using Prima Dolls and who would have guessed a grown woman would love playing with paper dolls so much.  Here are the two  that I made last night.  As you see I love my bling and try to use it whenever I can.  Have a good Tuesday and see you next time.

HOLA CHICA

Hello all my blogger friends.  I know I have been lazy and sometimes forget I have a blog home.  I keep promising to do better---hummmmm.  Well, I am here now LOL.  I just want to share an artist with you that I had meet maybe 5 or 6 yrs ago at my local Michael's.  Her name is Kathy Cano-Murillo.  She has a site called Crafty Chica.com.  She is most known for her Mexi-Boho style.  She came out with a line of  Latino stencils which are fabulous.  I purchased a few and had fun with my distressed ink, copics , some bling and stickles.  If you like these, they are sold at Blue Moon Scrapbooking.  Tell me what you think of them, I love them.  Thanks for stopping by.

THE WRAP

Hello everybody and welcome to the weekend.  Since I am at home all week, the weekends are just another day to play.  Well, my favorite digi artist, Robert Jackson, http://www.fineartsbyrobertjackson.com/index.html, just released some new images.  This is the one I like the best and love when he does this type of image.  It is called The Wrap.  I had so much fun with her that I had to make 3.  I paper pieced the wrap and added a bit of tops to them.  Please check him out as he really has a lot of beautiful images that look just like me.  Well, that is it for now and I hope not to be such a stranger.  Thanks for stopping by and see you soon.

SUGAR AND SPICE

Hello people, just wanted to share this cute card I just made using one of Robert Jackson's new digi images.  I fell in love with her cuteness and had to create something with her.  My niece is having my first great niece in November so I thought I would get it started by sending cute girly cards to her.  If you don't know Robert Jackson, you should check him out here http://www.fineartsbyrobertjackson.com/index.html.  He creates beautiful images including self images.  Peace out

FAMILY REUNION THANK YOU CARDS

Hello friends.  On July 7-11 I attended a Family Reunion on my mother's side of the family.  It was the 30th reunion and there were 178 people in attendance.  It was held in beautiful San Diego, California.  The accomodations and weather were just wonderful. Very nice change from Tucson, AZ.  We had a meet and greet the first nite, a harbor cruise on Friday morning and family dinner that evening.  Saturday was all day picnic and Saturday nite was pizza and game nite.  Sunday we had breakfast, church and business meeting. New officers were voted in and our next site.  My brother is president this round so it will be held in Chicago in two years.  I made a few thank yous for a few folks who contributed to the success of the reunion.  I made them in the family colors (white and maroon) and added pictures from the reunion.  I really like how they came out and hope you do too.  Thanks for looking.
