VALENTINE GIFTS

I received a request for a special Valentine card and door hanger for a lovely lady in California's God daughter.  She likes to embrace full figures and self acceptance.  I love doing full figure images especially those done by Mr. Robert Jackson.  She was thrilled with both items and that makes me smile.  Thanks for taking a peek at my blog.

NEW YEARS GIVEAWAY #2

I am so proud of myself.  I am gonna be sure to get all my giveaways done no later than February.  If I was to spread them out throughout the year, I would probably forget someone.  I decided to do another gift set of cards because I love to make cards and it is easy shipping.  Hopefully the recipient will love them as much as I loved making them in one of my favorite colors and hers too.  Jackie Powell this is the best orange I got for you.  Sharing with you so you can share with others.  Take care everyone.

NEW YEAR GIVE AWAY

Hello folks, I missed you.  This is my first post for 2019 so Happy New Year everyone.  Hope your year has gotten off to a great start.  For the last few years I have committed to give away something that I have created to 3-5 people.  There is no catch, you don't have to re post or pay it forward or nothing.  Just answer what I request and I do a random drawing.  My three this year were Tammy Thomas of Tucson, Jackie Powell from Kansas and Ollie Moore-Woods I think she now lives in Louisiana.  I have completed my first gift which is a card set.  I might make the others the same thing since I love making cards.  Anyway stay tuned throughout the year as I like to do periodic giveaways.  See you next time.

WINE AND DINE HOLIDAY CROP

Hello people.  I know you did not miss me, but I missed you really :)  Life has been extremely busy lately.   No matter what, I try to always find time for me.  I have a passion for crafting and it soothes my soul.  I started a craft group about 18 years ago or so called Wine and Dine Scrappers.  I was scrap booking then.  Lots of different ladies over the years but 5 of us remain the same and are now the Original Wine and Dine Crafters.  We now are into card making and altered art.  Every year we put on a holiday crop that has a theme.  This year was Speakeasy.  Just want to share the decorations I made, my card swap, and for the gift exchange we were to alter cigar boxes. Hope I will be able to post again real soon.  Thanks for stopping in.

SKETCH CHALLENGE

ALTERED CIGAR BOX SWAP

Hi folks, just wanted to share a swap I did over at Scraps of Color.  It was an altered cigar box swap.  I had several sitting around that I got from my friend Karen a while back.  Let me tell you. I had so much fun creating this for my swap partner I had to start another one.  It is all color coordinated including the handmade embellishments I put inside.  Be inspired, because it sure got me creating nothing into something.  Later

BIRTHDAY CARDS

Well I am back so soon this time.  I have been in a coloring, card making mood lately and just want to make pretty cards.  I tend to make a lot of girly birthday cards because everybody has a birthday and we all want to feel special.  Besides that, I love bright colors and bling.  Here are a couple of cards I made today.  Have a great night and a better tomorrow.
