SO HARD TO SAY GOODBYE

Today I just want to share a photo of my best friend.  His name is Malik but I always called him handsome.  He has lived with diabetis for 3 years and I have been the best care giver ever.  While I was away this weekend, he had a seizure and just was not himself.  The vet told me I could leave him there and he could get IV's and phenabarbital.  I told her no, I wanted to take him home one last time.  Unfortunately he did not do well and I did not want him to suffer.  My mom, daughter and sister came with me to say our goodbyes.  This dog has been the best companion to me ever.  I loved him dearly but I left him in Gods care.  May you rest in peace my love.
