Hi ya'll, been away for a bit, but I am back. I am not in LOVE, but got lots of LOVE to share. It is time to start working on those Valentine cards for your loved ones. It does not have to be a romantic LOVE, we love our families and our friends. I made the first card for my brother and his wife using one of Robert Jacksons images called "Thug Love" Simply cute. My brother just had some surgery and is wearing a neck brace so I adjusted his beard to be a brace. He is not a Thug, but I like cuteness and funny stuff.
This next card was made for one of my SOC (Scraps of Color) friends that I had the pleasure of meeting finally while visiting my brother in Los Angeles. She is such a sweet lady and I am so glad we became friends. Thank you Alice Harris for all your kindness.

2015 SOC Blogger Challenges
Hi folks, seems like I always start off with good intentions and do a lot of posts in the beginning. After that I guess my mojo slows down and almost comes to a halt. Anyway, while it is going I will enjoy it. This post is being entered over at Scraps of Color in the Sistah/Brother Blogger Challenge http://scrapsofcolor.ning.com/events/2015-soc-blogger-challenges. I recently started using Distressed inks with stencils and have been enjoying it. I added some copic markers to the mix this time. Not sure if they are cute to anyone else but I kinda like them a lot. This is not to say I will replace it with my first love which is coloring digi images for card making. Ok, so here you have it my new creations which have all been designated to others. Thanks for stopping in.

Sizzix Side Step Cards and Robert Jackson Images
Hi, I am back again with another share. My sister picked up a Sizzix side step die at Blue Moon the other day and we could hardly wait to play. It is smaller than the ones I have to measure out but I was able to make it work and have fun with it. I made the Afro one for a nice lady that called me from Scraps of Color. We had a nice conversation then decided to swap cards. I hope she likes my style (I think so). The other one is for the lady that I had meet at CKC in Mesa. She sent me a real cute card right before the holidays and I wanted to share my craftiness with her and thank her. Both images are by Robert Jackson, www.fineartsbyrobertjackson.com. Check him out. Anyway, thanks for stopping by, comments appreciated but not mandatory.

Distressed Ink and Stencils
Hello and Happy Friday. Just wanted to share with you a little something I was inspired to do from a challenge last Friday at Scraps of Color. The host of Friday Nite Chat ( Karen Atkinson) challenged us to make a card front using only stencils, ink or paint. We also were required to have a smile of some sort on the card. After a few minutes of thinking how I hate that smiley face thing, I remembered I had a really cool stencil of a lady smiling. I liked my results so much and had fun with it that I made 3 more to make a set of cards. I hope you like them and are inspired to go get your stencils and ink. Peace

1ST ROBERT JACKSON CHALLENGE OF 2015 AND COMMUNICATIONS
Hello and welcome to 2015. I don't know about you, but I look forward to a fabulous year full of crafting and new found, and renewed friendships. This is my year to EMBRACE the things around me and be grateful for what I have and not be concerned with the things or friends I do not have.
The first challenge for 2015 in the Robert Jackson digi group over at Scraps of Color is about celebrating. Celebrating a new year, yourself, a new job, your birthday or whatever calls for CHEER.

My next topic is about communication for 2015. With the age of technology, people are forgetting to just visit or call folks. It is so much easier to just text and be done. How impersonal is that???? I don't have time to be having a 10 or 15 minute text session. If it takes more then 2 or 3 texts then you might as well just call me and be done. I found this silly image over at Broken Box Stock and thought it was perfect for this card.
That is it for now and I hope I have brought a smile or have inspired you to EBRACE 2015 yourself. Peace
