Hello and welcome to my blog everyone. Did you know that it is National Craft Month? Well, if you didn't, now you do. It gives us craft heads an excuse to make more projects. For me it is craft month every day since I retired, but just for the game sake I will pretend I am celebrating the holiday. My two projects for today are a promised "Pay it Forward" that I posted on FB. Only requirement was to post what I give you and my blog address. That sounds easy enough, but some folks take the gift and that is it. LOL oh well I can live with that. I still enjoy making the gifts. I made a monogram note pad for this "Pay it Forward" using one of the new Prima dolls called Jeanne. I will be entering this into
http://memascrafts.blogspot.com/2015/02/march-challenge-2015.html . It is an anything goes challenge.
Now for my next project, I had fun doing this today. I saw on FB that a crafty person I know from SOC was requesting and hoping to get 85 birthday cards for her grandmother's 85th birthday. She was wanting to get some from each state. I took it literally and made what I felt was a true to the Old West card. It is a pocket card and has an insert with a message and on the back I showed who I was with cowboy boots and all. Yep, I'm a little bit of country. I used distressed inks to create the background, my silhouette cute the Arizona and the image is one by Robert Jackson.
Well, that is it for now. Wishing you Happy Crafting all month long.
You know I love your work and now I have to go buy another Prima Doll. Love how you paper pieced her outfit. And the cowgirl is all about me being from Texas and all. Thanks for joining in our challenge at Mema's Crafts and sharing with us. Don't forget to vote and add your name to the bonus challenge for more ways to win. Good luck.
