A very old friend from college days at the U of A called yesterday to inform me that her mother had passed away the day before. I went to work right away to be able to send her a bit of comfort. She does not scrapbook or make cards, but has told me numerous times how much she appreciates the hand made cards I send periodically and keeps them.
