SOC Christmas in July Blog Hop Day 1 & 2

 
 
Welcome to SOC's Christmas in July Blog Hop! I, along with some very talented crafters, are coming together to deck the halls by sharing Christmas themed projects! Of course Christmas is the season for giving, and this hop is no exception! There will be giveaways on various blogs throughout the hop! Plus, there will be an SOC blog hop gift awaiting one visitor!! To be eligible for that prize, you must comment on all the blogs by Sunday, July 28th at 11:00pm EST. Ok so I have chose to work with projects that relate to the area I live in which is Tucson, AZ.  My first project is a side step card with a really cute Summer Santa by Robert Jackson.  I added some stamped cactus to appear desert like.  My second project is an altered CD ornament with added chipboard sentiment and some poinsettia dies.  Thank you for stopping by and enjoy our Blog Hop.  Good Luck

DAY 2 ADD ON
I made this card using Recollections Glitzy Glitter paper pack.  The dies are cut with sizzlets.  The bling is a mesh cut to fit my needs  Thanks again for coming by.

    Great cards...love the Santa with the cactus...that says Arizona!!! Love how the embossed paper looks like rocks. Your ornament is pretty, like how you have it hanging on the cactus and your last card is another pretty creation. You should be selling these in a cardshop!!

    Love the summer Santa....he is just too cute! The step card is awesome, too! I want to try making some ornaments from CD's. Such a great way to recycle the old ones I have. Yours are fantastic!

    OK... the sentiment on that first card is too, too funny! I love how it perfectly goes with the design. You have perfected those side-step cards. Nice job on the ornament and second card too!
